- Free Event - All Welcome!

March 26th - 12pm to 4pm

Chapel Hill School of Art is delighted to feature the work of American writer Beth Jones in the screening of two digital stories

Shadow Forests and Dreaming of Trees.

Dreaming of Trees the screening of two digital stories by Beth Jones, investigating ancient forests as a method of communicating current topical events relating to the environmental crisis. Four forests are represented: the 385-million-year-old Cairo and Gilboa fossil forests of New York are the oldest in the world, followed closely by the ancient tropical forests of Svalbard, High Arctic. The Gearagh in Cork is a 9,000-year-old submerged glacial woodland, flooded in 1954 to support a hydroelectric dam.
